As the issue of Intellectual Property Rights is one of the most important challenges facing the national and international economy, especially since Jordan joined the World Trade Organization and signed many economic partnership agreements with the European Union and the United States.
To contribute to the discussion of this topic, the Center held this conference for the first time in 2005; To bring together Arab and foreign experts to clarify this issue related to agriculture and how to benefit from intellectual property on the national economy in Jordan and similar regional countries.
And after the successes achieved by the International Conference on Intellectual Property Rights in Agriculture, which was organized by the Technical Consultancy Center and in cooperation with fruit Producers Association over five years 2005-2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012, where the conference became the first of its kind at the local and regional levels, For its distinction in discussing the latest developments in serving the agricultural sector in Jordan and the countries of the region by a group of international, Arab and local experts and specialists. Therefore, it was decided to hold this conference for the sixth session during the period (4-6/6/2024) in Amman – Jordan.
